S J Trendz

Our shop, S J Trendz, is located at 119 on the ground floor of the World Trade Center. It sounds like a big fancy place because it’s right beside the Empire State Building on Ring Road, but our unit is actually quite practical and straightforward. We don't have those huge glass walls you see in those architecture magazines. It’s just a regular storefront where we keep our latest items. The Ring Road traffic is always moving, so there is a constant hum of cars and bikes outside. Being on the ground floor is lucky because people don't have to go searching through the whole building to find us. We keep the lights on and the racks full. Sometimes the air conditioning in the building acts up, so it gets a bit warm, but we just open the door to let the breeze in. We spend most of our time unpacking boxes and making sure everything is priced right. It’s a lot of manual work that people don't always see. We aren't a massive corporation, just a few of us running this spot every day. The neighbors in the other units are mostly offices, so it’s a bit different for a retail place like ours. We see a lot of people passing through on their way to work. The floor space is used up pretty well, maybe a bit too much sometimes, but we like having a lot for people to look at.
