We are located in the Tejpal Industrial Estate, at 203 Kadodara. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always loud with the sound of machines and trucks moving in and out. Our space is more of a workshop than a fancy store. We have pieces of wood, saws, and fabric scattered around. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but that’s how we work. We spend the day cutting, sanding, and putting together different furniture items. It’s dusty work, so we are usually covered in sawdust by the afternoon. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just me or one of the guys talking to anyone who comes by. People come to us when they need something sturdy that will last. We don't really do the modern, flat-pack stuff you see in big stores. Our furniture is heavy and made to stay in one piece. Sometimes we have to wait for materials to arrive, which can slow things down. We keep our records in a thick notebook that stays on a small desk in the corner. It’s a simple operation. We start early when the sun isn't too hot and work until the light fades. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of big industrial fans that keep the air moving. It’s a honest way to spend the day, making things with our hands. We’ve been in this Kadodara spot for several years and know most of the other workshop owners nearby.
