Pushpak Motors

If you’re near Katargam Darwaja, you’ll see Pushpak Motors at number 36. We are pretty close to the Magarpatta side of things. It’s a garage, plain and simple. We deal with engines, oil changes, and whatever else starts making a weird noise under the hood. The shop is usually full of the smell of grease and petrol. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We have a few lifts and a lot of old tools that have seen better days but still work just fine. Being near the Darwaja means there’s always a lot of traffic passing by, so we get people stopping in for quick fixes all the time. We aren’t like those big dealerships with the air-conditioned waiting rooms and free snacks. You usually just stand around and talk to the mechanic while he’s under the car. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes we stay late when a job is tougher than we thought. The floor is always a bit stained, and there’s usually a radio playing somewhere in the back. We just focus on getting the cars back on the road. People around Magarpatta know us because we’ve been at this same spot for years. It’s just us, some wrenches, and a lot of hard work every single day. There is always a car waiting to be fixed.
