Pratham Endocare Clinic

You can find us on the 4th floor of Chapatwala House. It’s right near where Vasan Eye Care is on the road going from Majuragate to Shretraphal. Being on the fourth floor means the elevator gets a lot of use, and sometimes it's a bit of a wait if the building is busy. We focus on endocrine stuff here, mostly diabetes and thyroid issues. It’s a specialized kind of place, so we see people who have been sent here by their regular doctors. The clinic isn't huge, but we've squeezed in enough rooms for the consultations and the blood tests. We spend a lot of time looking at charts and explaining lab results. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important for the folks who come to see us. The windows look out over the road, so you can see the traffic while you're waiting. It gets a bit noisy from the street sounds below during the rush hour. We try to keep things moving so people aren't sitting around all day. The staff is mostly local people who know the area well. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around Chapatwala House. We just keep doing our thing, checking levels and talking to patients about their diets. It’s a straightforward way to run a clinic, and it seems to work for everyone who walks through the door. We usually have a few files stacked on the desk waiting for the end of the day.
