Maya Niranjan Shah

I am Maya Niranjan Shah and I run things under the name Mumbas Blend. We are based out of Bhagyalaxmi Vibhag - 2 on Piplod Road. It is a nice enough area in Piplod and we have been here for a good amount of time. The work involves a lot of mixing and blending which means the air usually smells like whatever we are working on that day. It might be spices or tea or something else depending on the batch we are doing. My setup is quite small and it is mostly just a few of us handling the bags and the containers. We don't have a big store window on the main road so people usually find us through word of mouth or by coming into the residential vibhag. The Piplod Road can get very busy during the evenings when people are out and about. We spend our time checking the quality of the blends and making sure everything is packed up okay for whoever needs it. It is a very hands-on process and we don't use a lot of big automated machines. It is more about the feel and the smell of the product. The office part is just a small corner with a ledger and a phone. We like the quiet rhythm of the work here. It is not a fancy corporate business just a local operation doing its best every day.
