Colourtex Industries Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away right behind the Bank of Baroda branch in the Gidc Pandesara area. Having our place at Plot 158/3 makes it easier for people to find us, as the bank is a pretty well-known landmark around here. We have been operating out of this spot in Pandesara for quite a long time. It is an old-school industrial area, so the buildings have that lived-in, worn-out look to them. We deal with dyes and various textile chemicals mostly. The floors in our workspace are usually stained with different colors depending on what we were mixing that morning. It isn't a clean or pretty job, but it is what we know how to do. My brother and I handle most of the daily stuff, from talking to suppliers to checking the machines. We have a small crew of workers, some of whom have been with us since we started. We don't really bother with marketing or fancy ads because most of the local businesses already know where we are. The traffic around Pandesara can get really bad in the evenings, so we often end up staying late just to finish our paperwork and wait for the roads to clear up. It is a very simple operation we have here. We just buy the raw materials, process them in our tanks, and send them off. There is always a constant hum from the machines, which you just get used to.
