Panchwati Dyeing

Panchwati Dyeing is located right on Ring Road in the Mulsalkar Colony area. We are very close to Shrinath Dyeing, so this little pocket of the city is quite well-known for this kind of work. Ring Road is a very busy place, with vehicles moving at all hours. Our shop is where the actual dyeing happens. It is a wet and messy environment most of the time. We work with large vats of color and lots of water. You have to be okay with getting your clothes ruined if you work here. The smell of the chemicals and the steam is something that stays with you even after you leave for the day. Mulsalkar Colony has been home to many small units like ours for years. It’s a hard-working neighborhood. We don't spend much money on things like fancy signs or decorations. All our effort goes into the actual work we do with the fabric. The heat can be quite intense during the summer months when the steam is rising. We just take breaks when we can and keep the water nearby. It’s a very old-fashioned way of working, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't make any big promises. We just take the materials and do our best to get the color right. It is just a regular job for us.
