We’ve been here at Jolly Plaza for a good while now. It’s right by the Jain Temple on Dr Ambedkar Road. Most people know the Athwagate Circle area, it gets pretty busy with traffic and people moving around all day. We deal with all sorts of computer things at P C Infotech. People bring in laptops that won't start or printers that are jamming up constantly. Sometimes it’s a quick fix that takes ten minutes, other times we have to order parts and it takes a couple of days to get it sorted. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out why software is acting up. It’s not always easy, but it keeps us occupied. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need perfectly. We’ve got a couple of desks and a lot of cables everywhere. Usually, there’s a bit of noise from the road outside that we’ve just learned to ignore. If you’re coming from the circle, we are fairly easy to spot. We try to get things back to people as fast as we can because everyone needs their tech these days for work or school. Some days are slower than others. We drink a lot of tea while we work to keep going. It’s just how it goes here. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with glossy magazines, just a few plastic chairs for when someone needs to wait. People stop by on their way to work or after picking up their kids from school.
