We've been at the Katargam Majestic Circle for a while now. Most people around Kg Road 6 know where we are. It’s just a regular shop where we try to keep the things people actually need on a Tuesday morning. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have boxes sitting in the middle of the floor, but we get through it. It's usually just two or three of us working here. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars who stop by on their way home. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or anything. Just some shelves and a counter. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when it gets busy, it gets a bit messy. That’s just how it goes. People come in looking for specific items and we look hard to find where we put them. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the traffic at the circle. Other days, everyone comes in at once. We don't have a big corporate office or a manual for how to talk to people. We just say hello and help out. The air conditioning sometimes makes a weird noise in the summer but it keeps the place cool enough. We've seen a lot of changes on this street over the years. New buildings going up and old ones coming down. We're still here though, just doing our thing.
