There is a market nearby, so the whole street is usually buzzing with people buying and selling things from early in the morning. Our building is right in the middle of all that activity. It can be quite loud with the shouting of vendors and the honking of horns, but after a while, it just becomes background noise that you don't even notice. The office itself is an older space. It has high ceilings and thick walls that help a bit with the Kolkata heat, though we still need the fans going full blast most of the year. We haven't done much to change the place; it’s mostly just functional. We have our files, our computers, and a small area where we can sit and have our lunch or a cup of tea. It’s a very unpretentious environment. We don't go in for fancy branding or sleek designs. We just focus on getting through the work that needs to be done. Being on Chetla Hat Road means we are right in the heart of a very old part of the city. It’s a bit chaotic, a bit dusty, and very real. That’s just the way we like to keep things for Mcnally Bharat Engineering Co Ltd.
