Mayola Impex

Our setup at Mayola Impex is right in the middle of Mahidharpura on Dalia Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how tight it is. We are at 6-1181, which is basically a small space filled with boxes and a couple of computers. Surat is always moving, and this area is especially crowded with people doing all sorts of trade. We handle impex stuff, mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without getting lost. It’s a lot of coordination. The office doesn't have much room to spare. We have to move chairs around just to let someone pass by. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the ceiling fan has been making this weird clicking noise for months, but we just ignore it now. Dealing with orders takes up most of our time, and there’s always someone coming in or going out with a delivery. We get our tea from the stall at the corner, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit chaotic when three things happen at once. We don't have a big fancy reception or anything, just a desk where we sit and work through the list of tasks for the day. It’s been our base for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors pretty well.
