Madhav Provision Store

Madhav Provision Store is situated at Shop No 312 in the Krishna Market, Kadodara Sector 41c. Being in a market means we are part of a big community of sellers. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with household goods. We have everything from soap and shampoo to big containers of ghee. It gets very crowded in the aisles when more than two people are inside at the same time. We spend a lot of time unloading crates from the delivery trucks that come through the market narrow lanes. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is humid. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that do their best. Customers usually have a list and they read it out to us while we scramble to find everything. We use brown paper bags for most things. The market can be a bit chaotic with all the noise and people shouting, but we like the energy of it. We know the other shopkeepers around us, and we sometimes share a cup of tea when it’s slow. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. This is just a place to buy your weekly supplies without any fuss. We’ve been at this for many years and our family helps out when it gets really busy during festival times. It's just simple hard work every day.
