Maa Kundankanti Foundation

You can find us over at 10/1805 Paiki, tucked into Popawala No Khanchosoni Faliya. It's one of those spots that might be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but the neighbors know us well enough. Maa Kundankanti Foundation is basically just a small group of us working out of this space. It’s a local setup, nothing fancy at all. We spend a lot of time just talking to people in the street and seeing what's happening in the neighborhood. The building has been here a long time and it feels like a real part of the community. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just sorting through things and figuring out where we can help out. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the shops nearby, but we’re used to it. The walls are a bit thin and the desk we use has seen better days, but it works for what we need. We started this because we saw things that needed doing right here on our own doorstep. It isn't a corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. It’s just a room where we get things done. We keep the door open most of the time when the weather is decent. It feels right being right in the middle of the bustle of the faliya. It is a simple place for a simple foundation and we like it here.
