Our place is at 11 Hajira Ring Road in Surat, right at Jay Palace. We are directly opposite the Kribhco Township, which makes it easy for folks to spot us. It’s a family-run business, hence the name. We’ve been around for quite a while, passing things down through the years. The shop is usually full of stock and we spend our time helping customers who walk in from the road. Being on the Ring Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by all day long. We see a lot of regular faces from the township across the street. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't go in for anything too modern or flashy. We just keep the shelves filled and make sure we know what we’re talking about when someone asks a question. Sometimes the kids are running around the back while we work. It’s that kind of place. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves, from unloading the deliveries to tidying up at closing time. Surat is a busy city and being on this main road keeps us on our toes. We just try to be helpful and get people what they need without a lot of fuss. It’s been our life for a long time now and we don't plan on changing much.
