Working out of Icchapore 3 in Surat keeps us right in the middle of all the action. We are located at 102, Gayatri Nagar, which is a busy little pocket of the city. Being in Gujarat, especially in a place like Surat, means there is always something happening outside the front door. The L&T office here isn't anything spectacular to look at, just a functional space where we handle our business. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long, from the motorbikes zipping by to the local vendors. We don't have a lot of polished speeches or fancy brochures. Usually, we are just dressed in our regular work clothes, dealing with the paperwork and the phone calls that come in. Lunch is often a quick affair, maybe something from a nearby stall if we didn't bring something from home. The humidity can get pretty thick in the rainy season, making the office feel a bit cramped, but we make do. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s a straightforward environment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words; we just want to finish our work and head home to our families. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town. Sometimes the internet is slow or the tea is too sweet, but that’s just life at Gayatri Nagar. We have learned to enjoy the bustle and the noise of the street.
