We’re set up at L&T Hydrocarbon Engg. Ltd., which is right on the main road near Hazira. If you know the area, you know it’s a massive industrial hub. We’re specifically located at Gate No. 1, which is one of the main entry points for the workers and the big trucks. It’s a very active place, and you can always hear the sound of machinery and traffic in the background. The air is heavy with the smell of industry, which is just part of the job when you’re working in hydrocarbons. We spend most of our time dealing with the technical side of engineering and making sure everything is running like it should. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that’s what this area is built for. Gate 1 is usually busy from early in the morning until late at night. There isn't much in the way of scenery, just a lot of steel, concrete, and industrial equipment. We don’t really bother with any promotional talk or trying to look like something we’re not. We’re just an engineering firm doing its bit in Hazira. The main road can get pretty congested with tankers, so getting in and out takes a bit of patience. Our office is functional and straightforward, mostly just a place for the guys to huddle up and figure out the day’s problems. It is a no-nonsense environment for people who just want to get the job done.
