L & T Ltd

If you go down the Surat-Hazira Road toward Village Mora, you’ll find the Hazira Manufacturing Complex. We are at Gate No. 8 of the Hazira Works. It is a huge place, honestly. L & T Ltd has a lot of different sections here, but our daily life is centered around this specific gate and the workshops nearby. It’s a mix of people from Bhatha and Choryasi coming in for their shifts. The scale of the things we make here is pretty big, so you see a lot of heavy machinery and cranes moving around. It gets quite hot out here near the coast, and the salt air is something you just get used to. We don’t really do the corporate office thing here at the gate; it’s more about the actual manufacturing. There’s a lot of noise, sparks, and people in hard hats everywhere. We follow the shift whistles and keep things moving. It’s a lot of walking because the complex is so spread out. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the local stalls nearby or in the canteen. It’s a very industrial atmosphere. We just focus on the task for the day, whether it’s welding or moving parts. It’s a solid place to work, even if it’s a bit gritty and loud most of the time. We aren't here for the view, we are here to build things. It's just a bunch of workers making sure the heavy stuff gets done right before the next shift starts for the day.
