Janta Plastics

If you’ve ever walked down the Zampa Bazar Main Road, you’ve probably passed by us. We are at Shop No 3/513, right in the thick of things. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially with the Twin Tower so close by. Janta Plastics is what we call the place, and we sell just about every kind of plastic item you could think of for the house. Tubs, stools, containers, you name it. The shop is narrow and goes back a long way. We have things hanging from the ceiling and stacked in the aisles. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. Zampa Bazar is always loud with scooters and people haggling over prices. We’ve been here for years, watching the neighborhood change around us. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. Sometimes we sit out front on a stool when it’s slow, but that’s not often. Usually, someone is looking for a specific size of bucket or a lid they lost. We try to help everyone find what they need. It’s a simple business. No computers or fancy systems, just us and our stock. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a good fan that keeps the air moving. If you’re in the market, just look for the shop with all the colorful plastic out front. We’re usually here until late evening.
