This shop is located in the Chatrala Complex in Kadodara, unit 4/1342 to be exact. Being in a complex means we have other shops around us, so there is always some chatter from the neighbors in the mornings. We usually get here before the sun gets too high. The space isn't huge, but we made sure to put in plenty of shelves so nothing has to sit on the floor. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the new stock that arrives in big cardboard boxes. Sometimes the tape on those boxes is hard to peel off. We have a small glass counter where we talk to people and look at what they need. The tile floor is white, and we try to keep it clean, though people bring in a lot of dirt on their shoes. It gets quiet in the mid-afternoon, which is when we usually catch up on the paperwork or grab a tea from the stall nearby. We have a small fan that wobbles a little on its stand but keeps the air moving. Most of our day is just spent standing behind the glass, looking for specific boxes among the hundreds we have. It is a basic setup, nothing too fancy or modern. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and making sure we can find what people are asking for when they walk through the door. We stay until the evening when the other shops start to close.
