Our place is over on Ring Road, and if you know that area, you know how the traffic can be. We spend a lot of our day dealing with boxes and crates full of surgical supplies. It is a lot of lifting and moving things from the back to the front. The office part is just a couple of desks pushed together where we handle the paperwork and take calls from hospitals or clinics. We have shelves stacked high with all kinds of stuff, from bandages to more complicated tools used by doctors. It gets a bit dusty because of all the vehicles driving past on Ring Road, so we are always wiping things down before they go out. Most of the time, we are just checking inventory or loading up a van for a delivery across town. It is not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the delivery drivers get stuck in the jam outside, and everything gets delayed, which means we stay late to finish up the day’s work. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the usual door and some windows looking out at the street. People come in with their lists, we find what they need from the back, and they head back out into the noise of the city. It is just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized and keep the orders moving out to the hospitals.
