Kavi Advertising is based in the Vaibhav Complex at Kamrej Char Rasta. We’re right opposite Jubil Garden, so it’s easy to find if you’re in the area. Our office is at M1, and it’s usually filled with rolls of vinyl, some paints, and a few printers that are always busy. We do a lot of the local signs and posters you see around the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a messy business, with bits of paper and scraps everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things. We aren't some big agency with people in suits. We’re mostly just a couple of guys who know how to work the machines and design basic layouts that look decent. A lot of our time is spent talking to local shop owners who need a new board or some flyers printed for a sale. We have a few old computers that we use for the design work, and they’ve served us well. Sometimes we have to go out and install the signs ourselves, which means being out in the sun or climbing up on ladders. It’s physical work as much as it is creative. We don't promise anything revolutionary; we just try to get the signs done right and on time. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic at the Char Rasta, but we just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
