Kalaa Publicity

Our place, Kalaa Publicity, is over at Golden Point on Shivaji Road in Khatodara. It’s a well-known spot, so it’s not too hard to find us at number 2. We do a lot of printing and signage work here. The machines can be quite loud when they are all running at once. Our shop is often full of rolls of vinyl and scraps of paper. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how a real workshop looks. We aren't sitting in a quiet office; we are usually out on the floor checking the ink or making sure the cuts are straight. We’ve been at this for years now. Most of our customers are other local businesses who need a sign or some posters. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some global agency. We just do the work that people ask for. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, and the tea gets cold on the desk. Shivaji Road has a lot of movement, and we like being in the middle of it. It’s a very hands-on job. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they need to do. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who know their way around a printer.
