You can find us at Zircon Plus, specifically in unit 403. It’s on the Katargam Dabholi Road here in Surat. The address looks a bit complicated on paper with all those survey and plot numbers, but once you’re on the road, it’s not too hard to spot. Kalkani Systems is basically a small team of us working in the tech field. Surat is famous for diamonds and textiles, but we’re doing something different with systems and technology. Our office is high enough up that we don't hear too much of the traffic noise from the road downstairs. It’s a functional space. We’ve got our desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of computer equipment sitting around. We don't go in for big corporate speeches or fancy mission statements. We just show up, drink our coffee, and get to work. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble. That’s just the nature of what we do. It’s not always glamorous, and some days are slower than others. We like being in this part of Surat though. It feels active and like things are moving. We try to keep our operations straightforward. If there’s a problem with a system, we look at it until we figure out why it’s broken. It’s basic, honest work. We’re just regular people trying to build something useful here in the city. That's the long and short of it for us.
