K K Engineers

Our workshop is over in the Kawas Diamond Industrial Estate, at C1 B120. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always loud with the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming. We have a good amount of space here, but it’s mostly filled with tools and workbenches. We are engineers, so we spend our time fixing things or making parts for people. It’s not a clean job. There’s oil on the floor and grease on our hands most of the time. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a machine or looking at a drawing on a messy table. We’ve been in this unit for a while. The walls are a bit stained and the lighting is just okay, but it’s where the actual work happens. We don't do much in the way of talking about our goals or vision. We just take the orders, do the engineering, and make sure things are built right. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble or something breaks down. It’s just the nature of the work. We get along with the other shops in the estate, and we often borrow tools or parts from each other when we run short. It is a practical environment where people just get on with things. No fuss, just engineering and getting the job done.
