You can find our office at Poddar Arcade on Varachha Road. We take up the units from 520 through 527, so it is a decent amount of space on the fifth floor. Varachha Road is always packed with people and vehicles, especially near the Khand Bazar area. Most of us just take the stairs if the lifts are running slow, which happens a lot during the middle of the day. It is a typical office setup with desks, computer screens, and way too many cables running along the floor. We spend most of our time looking at monitors and trying to fix technical things. It is rarely quiet because the arcade is full of other shops and there is a lot of noise coming from the hallway. Sometimes the sound from the busy street below filters up through the windows, but we are used to it. Being in Poddar Arcade is convenient because everything you might need is right there in the building or just a short walk away. We take our tea breaks together and usually talk about the work or whatever else is going on in the city. Our team is a mix of younger people and those who have been in the tech field for a long time. We try to keep the place organized but the desks always end up messy with notes and spare parts. It is a practical place to work and it feels like home after being here so long.
