J K Provision Stores

J K Provision Stores is located on Anand Mahal Road, right near Gate No 4. Our shop is officially A 1 on R A Road, which is a spot a lot of people pass when they are heading home or going to the market. We have a lot of shelves to keep filled and it seems like we are always moving bags of rice or stacking cans. It’s a small space, but we make use of every inch of it. Being at Gate No 4 means we see a lot of the same people every single day. We know who likes what and who is usually in a rush. The morning is our busiest time when the milk deliveries come in and everyone is trying to get what they need for breakfast. R A Road can get pretty jammed up with cars and bikes, so it’s usually quite loud outside J K Provision Stores. We keep the floor swept and try to keep the flies away from the produce. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy crates and making sure nothing goes past its date. We don’t have any fancy computer systems, just a simple way of keeping track of things. We’ve been at this shop for a good while, and it feels like home now. The neighbors stop by just to chat sometimes, which is nice. It’s just a local store for local needs.
