Zampa Bazar is a place where you can get lost if you’re not careful. We are located at No.3/984 in the Devdi Mubarak area. It’s a busy part of town, and the street outside Indian Art is always full of people, scooters, and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our shop is small, and we’ve crammed it with as many things as possible. It’s not very organized, to be honest. You’ll find pieces of wood, metalwork, and various bits of art just stacked up on shelves or sitting in corners. We make a lot of things by hand, so there’s usually some sawdust or scraps on the floor. I usually sit near the front door so I can see who’s coming in, but also to catch whatever breeze comes down the alley. We don’t really have a sales pitch. If someone likes something, they buy it. If not, we just keep working on the next thing. It’s a family-run spot, and we’ve been in this building for quite a while now. The walls are old and could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy making things to worry about that. It’s a loud, messy, and lively place to work. Sometimes we just sit and drink tea with the neighbors when the lunch rush dies down. It’s just how things are done here in Zampa Bazar.
