Our office is actually at number 82, Hari Om Bunglow. It’s right behind the Sai Temple, so it’s usually pretty easy to find if you tell people to look for the temple first. We do infrastructure work, which means we spend a lot of time out at various sites, but this is where we handle all the planning and the boring stuff like bills and permits. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though you hear the temple bells throughout the day. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us and the trucks. The house itself wasn't originally meant to be an office, but we made it work for our needs. We have maps and blueprints spread out over the dining table most days. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. My cousin handles some of the site visits and I stay back to manage the paperwork and the phone calls. We don’t have any big signs or anything fancy. It just looks like another house on the street until you step inside and see all the construction gear and hard hats piled up in the corner near the door. Sometimes the tea runs out and someone has to run to the corner shop. It’s a practical way to run things without all the overhead of a big commercial building. We like the peace and quiet here because the job sites are usually the exact opposite—loud, dusty, and chaotic. It’s just how we run our day-to-day operations.
