I run my business from Gidc Plot No. 5714. It is basically a large workspace where I handle a variety of tasks related to local industry needs. There isn't a big team here, just me and occasionally a helper if things get really backed up. The plot is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it gives me enough space to keep the equipment and materials I need. I spend half my time on the phone and the other half actually doing the physical work. It is not a very tidy place; there are stacks of crates and tools lying around, but I know where everything is kept. I don't have a secretary or a fancy office setup. If you call, you are talking directly to me. I’ve been working out of this plot for several years and I’ve slowly built it up. Some days are very long, especially when I have to finish a big order by myself. The neighbors in the Gidc are all doing their own thing, so it is always a bit noisy with the sound of machines and trucks. I don't use any professional marketing or anything. People usually find me because someone they know told them I do a decent job for a fair price. It is just a straightforward way to make a living, and I prefer it that way. I just try to be reliable and get the work done as promised.
