You can find Gayatri Ayurvedic Pharmacy over at 234/2/2 Patel Estate. We are situated right on Nikol Road, not too far from the Pancham Shopping Mall. That mall brings a lot of people to this area, so it gets quite crowded on the weekends. Our shop is a bit more tucked away within the estate, though. We spend our time working with various herbs and traditional preparations. It smells quite strong inside sometimes because of everything we keep in the back. Nikol Road is a major thoroughfare, so the sound of traffic is almost constant. We have been in this spot for some time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as more buildings went up. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with jars and packets. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is handled properly. It’s a quiet sort of work compared to the chaos outside on the main road. Sometimes we have to spend the whole afternoon just labeling things or checking the stock that arrived in the morning. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done the old way with notebooks and pens. It works for us, and it keeps things simple. People from the nearby apartments usually walk over when they need something. We just try to stay consistent and keep the shop running as it should.
