Our place is at F 23 on Udhna Poiser Gymkhana Road in Mahavir Nagar. It is a lively part of the neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside. We can hear the sounds of people heading to the gymkhana or the kids shouting as they play nearby. The road itself is quite narrow, so when a big truck comes through, everything else has to stop. We have a small office here that fits us just right. It is not a modern glass building; it is more of a traditional setup with a heavy door and tiled floors that are easy to clean. The commute in the morning is often a bit slow because of the rickshaws clogging up the lanes, but we have our routine down now. Inside, there are a couple of long tables and some chairs that we’ve had for years. We usually have a pile of mail sitting by the entrance that needs sorting. In the afternoons, the smell of street food from the vendors downstairs usually makes us hungry. We don’t have any big corporate decorations, just a few calendars on the wall and a small clock that is always five minutes fast. Sometimes the power fluctuates, and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for us, keeping things moving and dealing with whatever comes up in this busy little corner of the city.
