We are over in the International Trade Centre at Majura Gate. It is a big building with lots of different businesses, but we are in unit 113. Our day usually starts with trying to find a decent parking spot, which is never an easy thing in this part of the city. We do a lot of software work and general tech support. It basically means we sit in front of bright monitors for way too many hours every single day. The office gets a bit cramped when we have all these boxes of new hardware and old cables lying around on the floor. We have a few desks pushed together and it is mostly just people with their headphones on trying to concentrate on their work. Majura Gate is a central spot, so we have plenty of little stalls to go to for a quick snack when we need a break from the computer code. The office isn't anything special to look at, just white walls and some functional furniture that has been here for years. We have a lot of cables running along the floor that we really should hide better so nobody trips. It is a bit of a nerd hub, honestly. We talk about software updates and servers a lot during our breaks. It is a steady kind of life, just solving one technical problem after another until it is time to head home.
