Our office is currently at House No 4 in Shantinagar Society right across from the Dargha in Udhna. It is a bit of a shift being here in Surat after being connected to Mumbai for so long but we have settled in quite well. The society is usually pretty quiet except during festival times when the whole street gets packed with people and food stalls. We are tucked away in a residential area so it doesn't really feel like a big corporate place at all. The house we work out of has plenty of room for our desks and all the files we have to keep track of. Being near the Dargha makes it very easy to give people directions when they are coming to visit us for the first time. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things between different sites and the main office people. The weather here in Surat can be really humid so the fans are always going full blast in the afternoons. Most of us bring lunch from home and we all sit together in the back room to eat when things aren't too busy. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that so you have to look closely for the house number. It's just a regular day-to-day operation where everyone knows their job and we just get on with things.
