You can find us over on University Road, right near the Bharat Cross Road. If you know the Udhna Magdalla Road area, our spot at 37, New Bharat is pretty easy to locate. The shop is almost always full of white stone dust and the loud sound of cutting tools. It has been that way for a long time now. My father was into this stone work and I just followed along with him. We work with all kinds of heavy stone slabs. It is physically demanding work and your hands get very rough after a few years. We do not have a slick or shiny showroom to show off. It is more of a messy workshop where things actually get made by hand. You can see the big slabs leaning against the walls in the yard. Some days the traffic on the main road is so loud we can barely hear each other talking. But we actually like the location because it is close to everything we need. People stop by when they are building a new house or maybe fixing up an old one. We don't promise anything fancy, just the honest work we do with our own hands. It takes a lot of time to get the tiny details right on a piece of stone. You simply cannot rush it or the whole thing breaks. We have had the same group of guys working with us for years. We know how each other works without saying a single word. It is a bit messy.
