Daxesh Furniture

Our workshop is at S/2 in the Ajitnath Awas building, which is right near the Mahavir petrol pump on Rander Road. If you are driving by, you will probably smell the wood shavings or hear the hammering before you actually see the sign. We have been making furniture here for quite some time. It is a basic setup with a few workbenches and all our tools hanging on the walls. We don't have a big air-conditioned showroom, so it gets pretty warm in the summer months. Most of the stuff we make is for local families around Rander. We do wardrobes, bed frames, and some kitchen work too. The floor is usually covered in some level of dust because we are always cutting or sanding something. We like working with our hands and seeing a piece of wood turn into something useful. Sometimes we have a few finished pieces sitting out front if someone hasn't picked their order up yet. It is a family-run kind of vibe here. We don't use any fancy computer designs, we just draw things out on paper or right on the wood itself. It’s just a normal workshop where we put in our hours and try to make things that don't fall apart after a month. We keep a fan going in the corner, but it doesn't do much when the sun is out. It is just us and the wood every single day.
