If you look for Dev Priya, you will find us at 215/216 on Ring Road. We are situated in Mangal Bazar, which is right near the Radha Krishna Textile Market. Being in this part of Surat means there is always a lot of energy and people rushing around with fabric bundles. Our place is usually full of different items tucked into every corner. It can get quite hot in the summer but we keep the fans going. I spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking the quality of the things we bring in. Mangal Bazar is a place where you have to be quick or you get left behind. We have two units joined together so there is a bit more room to move, but even then, it feels cramped when a lot of people arrive at once. The textile market nearby brings a lot of foot traffic past our windows. Sometimes I just stand at the door for a minute to watch the chaos of the street. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and sorting through inventory. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going.
