Desserts And More

You can find us at G-38 on City Light Road. The name is Desserts And More, but we mostly focus on the sweet stuff that people like. It’s a small shop in a busy part of the city. We have a couple of glass fridges where we keep everything cold. Sometimes the compressor makes a loud humming sound that fills the room, but it keeps the food from spoiling so we don't mind it. We aren't a big chain or anything corporate. It’s just a local place where we make things we like to eat ourselves. The walls are painted a light color, but they could use a fresh coat of paint soon. City Light Road is always moving and there are a lot of people passing by. We see folks going to work or heading to the other shops nearby. We don't have a lot of seating, maybe just two small tables if people want to stay for a minute. Most folks just take their stuff to go in a bag. We handle everything ourselves, from the baking in the morning to the cleaning at night. It’s a lot of hours on our feet and our backs ache sometimes. Sometimes we run out of boxes and have to use paper bags instead. We just try to keep things moving along. It’s not a fancy boutique, just a regular shop where we do what we can every day for the customers.
