Chandrakala Boutique

You can find Chandrakala Boutique on the first floor at No. 15 in the Omkar Industrial Society. It might seem like a strange place for a boutique, but we have our own space here. Once you walk up the stairs, you will see us. Rolls of fabric are usually leaning against the walls, and we have thread in every possible color. Much of our day is spent cutting cloth or sitting at the sewing machines. The steady sound of the needles is the main noise in the room. We do not have a fancy showroom because this is mostly a workspace. A small area behind a curtain serves as a place for customers to try things on. The lighting isn't perfect, but we use bright lamps for the more detailed stitching. Omkar Industrial Society is always full of people moving goods, so it stays loud outside our door. We take our orders and write them down in a notebook along with some rough sketches. If we run out of a specific type of lace, someone has to go out and track down more. It is just a few of us working together here. We focus on getting the stitching right and making sure the fit is comfortable. It is a simple setup that has worked for us for a long time. We stay busy with the work and usually finish up quite late in the evening when the society gets quiet.
