Bherunath Provision Store

If you go down to Magan Nagar and look for Plot No 38, that’s where you’ll find Bherunath Provision Store. We sell a bit of everything that a household might need. Rice, flour, spices, and the basic stuff you run out of in the middle of cooking dinner. I’ve lived in this area for my whole life, so opening a store here felt like the right thing to do. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local provision shop where we know most people by their first names. My kids sometimes help me out after school, especially when we get a big delivery that needs to be put away. The shelves are a bit crowded, but I know exactly where everything is located. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dirty when it rains outside, but we try to mop it whenever there’s a quiet moment. We don’t have fancy shopping carts, just hand baskets. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and counting change. I like being my own boss, even if the hours are long. Most days I open up at seven and don’t close until the sun is well down. It’s just how it goes when you run a family store like this one. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the neighbors have what they need for their kitchens and homes.
