There are so many shops and people looking for things. Our space is tucked in there with the others. We have a small sign so people can find us. It is not a big corporate setup, just a desk and some chairs and a lot of work to do. We’ve been part of Munshi Market for a while. We know the other sellers and the people who come to shop here. It feels like a small village sometimes even though it’s in the middle of everything. We handle our business bit by bit. There is no rush to be the biggest. We just want to do right by the people who come to see us. Varachha Road is a major artery for the city, so we see all kinds of people. Some days the market is so packed you can barely walk. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks. We don't use any special jargon. We just talk like normal people. If you are looking for B-18, just ask anyone in the market, they probably know where we are. It is an honest way to spend the day and we are glad to be here. The market is our home.
