We set up shop at Bhavani Chambers, right at number two. It’s very close to Peoples Char Rasta here in Katargram. If you know the area, you know that intersection gets quite a lot of traffic at all hours. Being near the crossroads means we get a lot of people stopping in while they’re out doing their vegetable shopping or heading back home from work. It’s a simple medical store, nothing more. We focus on having the right stock for the families who live in the surrounding streets. The building itself is easy to spot once you get to the Char Rasta. We spend a lot of time sorting through boxes and making sure the medicine cabinets are full and the dust is kept off the shelves. It isn’t always the quietest place to work because of the street noise and the horns, but we like being where the action is. Sometimes someone comes in looking for something quite specific or a bit rare, and we do what we can to track it down for them. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run right every day. Most of the time it’s just routine stuff, filling scripts and selling bandages or whatever else is needed. We’ve become a bit of a fixture in this part of Katragam over the years. It’s not a fancy corporate chain, just a local spot where you can get what you need without any fuss. We keep it honest and just do our job every day.
