Our office at Dhanhar Exim Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in Bhajiwali Pole, which is a very old part of Bhagal. If you know Surat, you know how these poles are. It is crowded and noisy but that is just how it is here. We operate out of Dhanhar House, number 5/354. It is an old building that has seen a lot of years. We handle all our export business from these rooms. The stairs are a bit narrow and the street outside is always full of scooters and people buying vegetables. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit and work on our export deals. Every morning starts with tea and then we get into the emails and the shipping lists. Being in the heart of the city means we are close to everything, but it also means it’s never quiet. We have been here a long time and the neighbors all know us. We don't try to be flashy. We just focus on getting the products packed and sent out on time. The house itself has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. It feels like home because we spend so much time here. Sometimes the internet acts up or the electricity flickers, but we just keep going. It’s a real, working office in a real, busy neighborhood.
