Austere Design

You can find Austere Design over at Piplod U 2. It’s a bit of a strange address if you aren't from around here, but once you find the building, we are easy to spot. The office isn't very large, which fits the name of the business, I suppose. We don't go in for much decoration or fancy stuff. There are just desks, some chairs, and the tools we need to get our design work finished. Most days it’s just the sound of clicking mice and the occasional radio playing in the corner. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who like making things look decent. We don't have a front desk person, so if you come by, one of us will just look up from our screen and say hello. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We work hard, but we don't feel the need to wear ties or act like we are in a boardroom. At Piplod U 2, we just focus on the projects in front of us. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and other times we leave early if the weather is nice. It’s a flexible way of working that seems to suit everyone here. Austere Design is really just about getting the job done without any extra drama or unnecessary steps. We like keeping things simple and local here in our little Piplod office.
