We’ve been at Parle Point in Sobha Opal for a while now. Most days it’s just us sitting here surrounded by monitors and half-open laptops. The 39th Cross area gets pretty busy during the day, so there is always some noise from the street. We mostly handle computer stuff, like when someone’s hard drive starts making that clicking sound or a laptop won't turn on. It’s a small space in 4th Block, filled with tools and spare parts we’ve collected over the years. Some people drop by because they’re frustrated with their office setup and need someone to just make it work. We don't have a big fancy reception area. It's just a desk and some chairs where we talk about what's wrong with the tech. Sometimes the AC acts up, but we manage. We’ve seen all sorts of problems, from coffee spills on keyboards to weird software errors that take all afternoon to figure out. Usually, we just get on with the work and try to get things back to the owners as fast as we can. It’s quiet in the mornings before the rest of the shops open. We like it here because it's central and easy for folks to find us. Nothing too complicated, just a place where we fix things and keep the computers running for the neighborhood people who stop in. We keep a stack of old magazines in the corner for anyone waiting. It's a simple, honest shop.
