Asaadharan Foundation

The Abhinandan Market is a very busy place to be every day. We are located right on Ring Road in the Umarwada area of Surat. Our space is Shop-274 on the lower ground floor. If you’ve ever been here, you know the sound of the traffic and the crowds of people buying and selling textiles. It is a bit of a maze, but we like being in the heart of all that energy. Our shop isn't very large, so it gets a bit cramped when more than a few people are inside. We have some basic metal shelves and a couple of desks where we handle all the foundation’s paperwork. The address on our documents says Sy No25 Plot-136/2-3, but to most people, we are just the shop on the lower ground floor. It’s loud outside most of the time, so we’ve learned to talk a bit louder to be heard. We don't have a big sign or any fancy decorations. It’s just a practical place to work. Most days involve a lot of walking around the market to talk to people or sitting and organizing our records. We don't have any corporate training or big speeches. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work. Surat is a city that never really stops moving, and we are just trying to keep up while doing our bit for the community. It’s not always easy, but this is where we belong.
