Down on Kadampalli 80 Feet Road 2, you’ll find us working most days of the week. We are mistrys, so our hands are usually covered in sawdust or wood shavings by lunch. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a workspace filled with tools, wood planks, and the heavy smell of glue. We do a lot of measuring and cutting, trying to get things to fit just right for whatever project we have going on. It’s physical work that leaves you tired by the end of the day, but it’s what we know how to do best. Sometimes the noise of the saws is so loud we can barely hear the traffic passing by on the 80 feet road. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area for people. If you come by to see us, you'll likely find us in the middle of a project, probably wearing old clothes that have seen better days. We take a lot of pride in the fact that we use our hands to build things that people actually use in their houses every day. Life on this road is busy, and we are just one small part of the neighborhood. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. Word usually spreads by people talking to their neighbors, and that seems to work fine for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the wood in front of us. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us fed and occupied.
