Angel Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. is out in Village Delad, which is part of the Olpad area. We are located at 8/9, Hajari Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you live in the city, but it’s quieter than being right in the middle of town. We have these big extrusion lines running most of the time, and they make a steady humming sound that fills the whole building. The heat coming off the machines is no joke, especially when we are running at full capacity during the summer months. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages and have been with us since we opened up this unit. We don’t have any big corporate meetings or fancy reports; we just check the output and make sure the quality is what it should be. The estate itself is fairly basic, just a bunch of sheds and dusty roads where trucks come and go. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure the raw material is feeding in correctly. It’s practical work that requires a lot of attention so nothing goes wrong with the machines. Sometimes we have power cuts and everything goes silent, which is the only time it’s actually peaceful in the shop. We just wait for the generator to kick in and then get back to it. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day to keep the production moving forward.
