A Y Engineers

If you go down Ring Road in New Vadaj, you’ll find us at number 2. A Y Engineers is basically a place where we get our hands dirty and try to solve mechanical problems. The shop is usually full of the smell of metal and maybe a bit of oil from the machines we use. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We spend most of the day looking at parts or trying to figure out why something isn't fitting quite right. It’s not a quiet job; there’s always some kind of grinding or hammering going on in the back. People from around New Vadaj know us as the guys who just stay busy and don't say more than we need to. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy to look at, just the workspace and the tools we’ve gathered over the years. Some of the equipment is old, but it still works better than the new stuff sometimes. We take things as they come, whether it's a big project or just someone needing a small part fixed. It’s just steady engineering work, day in and day out, and we like the feeling of finishing a job and seeing it actually work the way it's supposed to. We usually lock up around six and head home to get cleaned up from the grease.
