24Carats Mithai Magic

We’ve been running 24Carats Mithai Magic for a while now over here at Parle Point Shreeram Estate. Our shop is right on National Highway No 8 at H-10. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks and cars going by all day long. Sometimes the dust from the road gets to be a bit much, but we just keep the doors open and do our thing. We spend most of our mornings back in the kitchen getting the milk boiling and the sugar ready. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the building. Most people who stop by are just passing through on the highway or they live nearby and need something for a family thing. We don’t have any fancy seating or anything like that, just a regular counter where you can see what we made that day. Sometimes we run out of stuff early if it’s a holiday, but that’s just how it goes. My cousin helps out behind the counter and we just try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us working here every day. We’ve seen the highway change quite a bit over the years since we started. People around here know where we are, right by the estate. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the trays are full when we open up. It is what it is.
