Patel Agrochemicals

Patel Agrochemicals is located right on the Nerchowk-Janjahli Road in Baggi, which is in the Mandi district. It is a beautiful area in the hills, but the work we do is mostly about helping the farmers who live around here. We deal with agrochemicals, so we spend a lot of time talking to people about their crops and what they need for the upcoming season. The shop is in Vpo Baggi and it gets quite busy during the planting months. You will see a lot of local farmers stopping by on their way to or from their fields. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the weather is dry for a long time. We have been here for a good while and know most of the families in the area. It is not just a business for us; it is part of the community in Sundarnagar. We keep our stock organized in the back, mostly fertilizers and various sprays. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving bags and cans around throughout the day. The winter can be pretty tough up here in Mandi, but we stay open regardless. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just do business face to face or over the telephone. People know they can find us easily on the main road. We just try to keep things simple and help out where we can. It's a steady life for us out here.
